How long will my Cura Tan last?
Expect your tan to last between 5 to 7 days, with proper preparation and moisturizing potentially extending its duration. However, individual skin types naturally exfoliate at different rates.
Will Cura's Tanning products make me smell bad?
All Cura's self-tanning products feature a fresh coconut scent, ensuring a pleasant experience throughout application and wear.
Will Cura Tan transfer onto clothing and stain my sheets?
We recommend wearing loose, dark clothing during the 8-hour development period to minimize potential transfer. While our tanning mousse dries quickly and any transfer is minimal, it's advisable to wash off excess tan before wearing light-colored clothing or lying on light-colored bedding.
Is the tanning mousse suitable for my face?
Yes, it is. However, given that facial skin can be sensitive, it's essential to conduct a patch test beforehand. Some individuals prefer to mix a small amount of tanning mousse with the serum for application on their face or other delicate areas.
Can I use these products while pregnant and/or breastfeeding?
Our products are formulated for topical use and are unlikely to have adverse effects during pregnancy. Nonetheless, it's advisable to conduct a skin test, particularly as hormonal changes can affect skin sensitivity. Avoid applying to the breast area while breastfeeding, and consult your doctor if unsure.
Do your products contain SPF or offer UV protection?
Our products enhance your natural glow but do not provide sun protection. It's crucial to use a sunscreen with adequate SPF when exposing your skin to sunlight to prevent burning and sun damage.
Can I use your products if I have eczema or a skin condition?
Yes, our products can be used to help cover certain skin conditions. However, we recommend conducting a patch test at least 24 hours before applying the tan to check for skin sensitivity, as conditions and reactions can vary.
Can I swim after applying Cura Tanning products?
We advise against swimming for 6 to 8 hours post-application to allow the tan to develop fully. Once developed, swimming is permissible, though exposure to seawater and chlorinated pools may accelerate tan fading.
